Introducing Taruk, the first 100% electric bus designed and manufactured in Mexico, with the support of Megaflux, Conahcyt and the Faculty of Engineering of the UNAM. This innovative public-private project marks a key step in sustainable mobility in the country. Taruk, which in Yaqui means “roadrunner”, has a range of up to 350 km after two hours of charging. Its powertrain is produced in Iztapalapa, CDMX, and final assembly takes place in Ciudad Sahagún, Hidalgo at our Dina plant. With this advance, Mexico reinforces its commitment to electromobility for a more efficient and environmentally friendly public transportation.
